McMurray takes this win, Johnson takes the lead
It was a big one, but not The Big One. Coming to the checkers, McMurray had the lead and Earnhardt Jr. had talked strategy. Then not too far behind them did things start getting a little crazy. And while it was too late for Jr Nation, McMurray flew the #1 Cessna Ford to Victory Lane. Breaking a 108-race drought, McMurray became the 2nd “non-Chaser” to win this month.

Wild finish at Talladega
