As we enter the 2014 NASCAR season, there have been a multitude of changes across the sport.  New rules, a new Chase format, new teammates.  One more change is being introduced today – two new teammates for your NASCAR weather forecast needs.

After months of discussions, Brian Neudorff (@NASCAR_WXMAN) and Aaron Studwell (@RaceWeather) will be working together on the NASCAR race weekend forecasts.  By combining their efforts, they will bring together over 30 years of forecast experience with over 15 years of combined work supporting NASCAR weather.

While they have been coordinating behind the scenes for several seasons, the 2014 NASCAR season will bring their collaboration to the fore.  Their readers will continue to receive the dedicated and coordinated NASCAR weather coverage that they have come to know and expect.  While both meteorologists will continue to maintain their own websites and other media affiliations, additional cooperation will evolve as the season progresses.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue working with Brian and expanding our professional relationship.  His forecast and media experience will bring additional visibility to the RaceWeather brand, which will ultimately benefit both of us,” said Aaron Studwell of RaceWeather.net.

“Two heads are always better than one, and when it comes to forecasting the weather, sometimes a different perspective and point of view can make all the difference. Aaron is a very talented meteorologist and he has such a passion for NASCAR and of course, weather. This professional relationship will only serve to help all those who rely on us for accurate and timely weather information during a race weekend,” said Brian Neudorff.
