NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor David Starr is open to running Cup Series races this year for Carl Long‘s MBM Motorsports, the team he will compete for in the Xfinity Series in 2021 starting at the Daytona Road Course.
“If he needs me to help him out, run a Cup race, I will, but my focus is 100 percent on trying to get our Xfinity car very competitive,” Starr said.
“Running a Cup race is not a priority right now, but I would tell you that it‘s not out of question that you won‘t see me run three, four, maybe five races.”
