In preparation for EchoPark Automotive Texas Grand Prix, NASCAR will host a Goodyear tire test on Tuesday, March 2 for select teams in Austin, Texas at Circuit of The Americas ahead of the inaugural NASCAR at COTA race weekend May 21-23.
Three NASCAR Cup Series teams/drivers tentatively scheduled to participate in the March 2 test include defending 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott and past Cup Series champions Martin Truex Jr. (2017) and Brad Keselowski (2012).
This will be the first time multiple Cup Series stock cars have run on the world-renowned 3.41-mile circuit.
The tire test is NOT open to the public.
