On Friday afternoon, Jennifer Jo Cobb announced on Facebook that she was withdrawing from Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.

Cobb indicated that her Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing team had been having issues with its transporter for quite some time. The team rented a different hauler, but the lift gate on the hauler would not open when trying to unload the truck. Minutes before practice, the team was able to fully unload its truck and necessary equipment.

Cobb added the team didn’t have enough time to get through inspection, nor get new tires.

This is the first race since the 2010 season opener at Daytona International Speedway that Cobb’s team won’t attempt to qualify for the race.

Cobb’s full statement is on her Facebook page.
