Not so very long ago, in NASCAR Land, folks were so enamored with the former driver of the No. 48 Chevy, Jimmie Johnson, that he and his sponsor, Lowes, were seen in ads quite often. They renamed Charlotte Motor Speedway to Lowes Motor Speedway; and if you went shopping for a screwdriver in your local Lowes, you might see a life-size cardboard cutout of Johnson in the middle of an aisle. Times have changed (for instance, Alex Bowman drives that particular Chevy, and it is Charlotte Motor Speedway once again). For those fans who still follow Johnson‘s career, they might have been glad to see Jimmie pop up five times during the broadcast as a spokesman for Carvana. For any fan who would like to know more about what commercials were shown during the race, and how much time they took, here is this week‘s breakdown.
