Within an hour of the green flag for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Credit Karma Money 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, JR Motorsports was left scrambling to find a replacement for Michael Annett.
2013 Xfinity Series champion Austin Dillon was given the nod, though JR Motorsports had spoken with BJ McLeod and Jordan Anderson about possibly driving the No. 1 Chevrolet.
Austin Dillon just told me he will drove the JRM 1 car today. He was running to get a firesuit.

Annett has an apparent leg injury, and also missed the Camping World Truck Series race at Knoxville Raceway, as he was scheduled to drive the No. 02 for Young’s Motorsports.
Entering Atlanta, Annett was 11th in the championship standings, 67 points above the cutline.
