Former IMCA, ARCA, and USAC driver, Ramo Stott age 87 of Keokuk, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospital on Thursday, August 19, 2021, after a long bout with cancer. Stott won the first race for a Plymouth Superbird with the wing. Stott  contributed greatly to his community and country. He was an inspiration and mentor to many, he will be dearly by his family and friends.

NEWS: 3x Stock Car Racing champion Ramo Stott passed away at 87. Stott won two ARCA Series championships (1970, 1971) and won the 1975 USAC Stock Car championship.

He raced 10 years in the NASCAR Cup Series, which included a pole position in the 1976 Daytona 500. #RIP
