Akinori Ogata will make just his second start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this weekend at Richmond Raceway. Ogata will be competing in the No. 52 Chevrolet for Jimmy Means Racing.

Ogata has competed in three Camping World Truck Series races this season for Reaume Brothers Racing, with his best finish coming in his most recent outing at Charlotte Motor Speedway (28th).

Richmond will be Ogata’s first Xfinity start since the penultimate race of the 2018 season, when he finished 33rd for MBM Motorsports.
