Garrett Smithley will take over the #51 for Rick Ware Racing at Richmond Raceway this weekend in place of Cody Ware. Ware was scheduled to drive the car, but the team is taking a “precautionary measure” after Ware suffered carbon monoxide poisoning last weekend at Darlington Raceway. Ware will also sit out next weekend’s race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
