With the start of the season just over two weeks away, NASCAR veteran David Starr has yet to officially announce his NASCAR racing plans for 2022.
Yet, the 54-year-old driver indicated on his podcast, Let‘s Go Racing with David Starr Wednesday (Feb. 3) some news on his plans will be announced soon.
“I‘m excited to announce some news coming up soon,” Starr said.
In 2021, Starr raced in seven Cup Series races — all for Carl Long‘s MBM Motorsports — the most he ever has in a single season in NASCAR‘s top series. Will he race in the Cup Series this year?
“I don‘t know, it‘s hard to answer that question right now,” Starr said on the podcast, in reference to a fan-submitted question about it.
