Last week‘s Geico 500 ended in wild fashion with a crash on the last turn changing everything and leading to Ross Chastain‘s second win of the season. However, it‘s the man who caused the last second crash that oddsmakers expect to win this weekend.

Kyle Larson is once again the favorite with +450 odds, or an implied 18.2% chance to take home the win. He‘s followed by the red hot William Byron and Championship leader Chase Elliot at +900, or an implied 10% chance to win.

What about last week‘s winner? Well, Chastain is given +1200 odds, or an implied 7.7% chance to win his third race of the season. Oddsmakers just don‘t have much faith in the man who has two victories, three other top-3 finishes, and another top-5 finish this season.

Quote from OddsChecker spokesman Kyle Newman, “Larson drove well this weekend and for a long time looked like he was going to win. He didn‘t and caused a crash in the process though. It‘s been a rough season for Larson, but he‘s starting to bounce back with three top-5 finishes in his last four races. It doesn‘t hurt that Larson finished second here last year, while also winning the first two stages.”
