Brandon Igdalsky, the former Pocono Raceway President & CEO and current NASCAR exec, has left full-time motorsports work after 33 years in the sport to pursue some personal business aspirations and consulting gigs. Igdalsky, whose final race was appropriately at Pocono this past weekend, most recently served as NASCAR‘s Managing Dir of Weekly & Touring Series. He started in motorsports the day after former driver Terry Labonte won the Miller High Life 500 at Pocono in 1989, and he had a 10-year run as president of the Pennsylvania-based venue. He joined NASCAR in 2017 and held a handful of different roles at the sanctioning body. His business aspirations include managing a start-up he founded in 2020 called Dude Wow Cocktails, and he also will consult in the event/facility operations/sustainability space.
