Roger Penske met with the media Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and said that next year’s Cup race will once again run the road course.
There had been speculation that the series would return to the the oval.
However, they are considering the oval in 2024.
Roger Penske says NASCAR will remain on the IMS road course for 2023, but is evaluating whether to switch to the oval in 2024. He mentions alternating years between the road course and oval is one option under consideration.
