Austin Dillon’s crew chief, Justin Alexander, won’t return to the No. 3 team for the 2023 season, according to Bob Pockrass from Fox Sports.
The No. 3 team is coming off winning its way into the NASCAR Playoffs at Daytona International Speedway last weekend. All four of Dillon’s Cup Series wins have come with Alexander calling the shots.
Alexander said it was decision to step down as crew chief, and hasn’t made a decision on his 2023 plans.
