Josh Bilicki, a regular in NASCAR‘s top three series, is set to compete in his first ever dirt midget race at the historic Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.  Bilicki will drive the 7C entry for Ramco Speed Group, a Texas based dirt midget team fielding four cars at the 2023 Chili Bowl.  Primary sponsorship comes from Elliott‘s Custom Trailers & Carts, with Rich Mar Florist and The BOSS serving as associate sponsors.

Bilicki made his first start on dirt at the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol.  Going from one of the largest dirt tracks in the country to the smallest is something Bilicki is excited for.

“I‘ve had the itch to race the Chili Bowl for many years, but this is the first year all of the pieces of the puzzle fell into place,” says Bilicki.  “As someone who grew up racing on road courses and making the transition to NASCAR and paved ovals, this is something completely out of my element and comfort zone.  I believe some of the best drivers come from this form of racing and I‘m excited to learn all I can from this experience.”

Elliott‘s Custom Trailers & Carts will serve as the primary sponsor aboard Bilicki‘s dirt midget.  Elliott‘s an authorized trailer and golf cart dealer serving all of northern Indiana.  The company has deep roots in motorsports, as it‘s late founder, Tony Elliott, was a very accomplished racer and one of USAC’s greatest ambassadors. Tony’s outgoing personality also led to great success for his Elliott’s Custom Trailers business, where he sold race trailers and custom golf carts. Bilicki raced to a top-ten finish at Daytona in 2022 with Elliott‘s as a primary sponsor.

Also featured on Bilicki‘s car will be the Tony Elliott Foundation.  Through Tony‘s business, he gave back to the sport he loved so much by sponsoring drivers and events. His wife Cindy has continued these contributions both through the business and the foundation.

“The Chili Bowl Midget Nationals meant a great deal to Tony Elliott and was a big part of his racing dream,” says Cindy Elliott, president of Elliott‘s Custom Trailers & Carts.  “Elliott‘s Custom Trailers and the Tony Elliott Foundation is proud to continue our partnership with Josh Bilicki Racing on dirt, racing for the Golden Driller. The same dream Tony had and we know he will be looking down smiling.”

Rich Mar Florist and The Builders Outlet Super Store join Bilicki for his dirt midget debut.  Rich Mar Florist has been the Lehigh Valley’s local florist since 1955. From small beginnings the company has grown to provide floral arrangements at events large and small.  The Builder‘s Outlet Super Store was founded in 2009 by Richard Bell.  The BOSS has become the go-to source for flooring and fencing in DFW.

The 37th annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals will take place on Sunday, January 8th through Saturday, January 14th on a 1/4-mile dirt oval track at the Tulsa Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  With over 15,000 fans in attendance, NASCAR calls it the “biggest Midget race of the year”. It is nicknamed the “Super Bowl of midget racing”.  All races will be broadcasted live on FloRacing.
