After announcing last month that he was departing SS GreenLight Racing, Joe Graf Jr. has found a new home with RSS Racing for the 2023 Xfinity Series season.
Graf, who finished 27th in the Xfinity championship standings in 2022 and earned his best career finish (eighth) at Talladega Superspeedway in April, will compete in an RSS Ford for a minimum of 28 events. His first race will be in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway.
“I am very appreciative to be welcomed into the RSS Racing family,” Graf said in a statement. “I am opening a new chapter in my Xfinity Series career in 2023 and I am determined to make it my best yet.
“I‘m looking forward to having Ryan [Sieg], who is not only respected in the garage as my teammate, but also driving for a family-owned team is certainly going to bring back memories. I hope we are able to make some new memories of our own this season with all of our great marketing partners.”
Ford Performance will continue to support Graf, as RSS Racing has a technical alliance with Stewart-Haas Racing.
Following Graf to RSS are his partners, which include: Bucked Up Energy Drink, CoverSeal, G-Coin, Gtechniq and JACOB Companies. He will also have a new primary marketing partner Lefcourt Brothers Racing, a group of exotic car collectors, enthusiasts and investors.

RSS will field at least two full-time Xfinity teams for the 2023 season, with Ryan Sieg piloting the No. 39 Ford. Veteran crew chief Steve Addington will serve as Graf’s crew chief.
