Steve Lauletta, the president of 23XI Racing, says that the teams long term plans include additional expansion.

Interviewed by Dave Moody on SiriusXM NASCAR, Lauletta said, “We certainly want to. It’s just, when is the right time? When is the right driver available? When is the right partner, sponsors, crew chief available?  Can we get a charter? Is that available.  There so much that goes into it….We will keep an eye on it and see when it happens.”

23XI Racing started in 2021 with Bubba Wallace.  The team moved to two teams last year, with Kurt Busch as the primary driver.  The team ran a third car at this year’s Daytona 500 with Travis Pastrana.
