Martin Truex Jr. announced on Saturday at Michigan International Speedway that he would return to Joe Gibbs Racing to drive the No. 19 Toyota in 2024. He’s taking it year-by-year in his decision-making process.

Truex also announced that his younger brother Ryan Truex will compete in 2024 at least on a part-time basis, with all signs pointing it will be for JGR in the Xfinity Series. Prior to 2022 when Ryan rejoined the Toyota family, he had bounced around to various teams.

“Yeah, we‘ve got races for Ryan (Truex) again next year,” Martin said. “Hopefully more. We are looking for sponsorship to do a full year, if possible. That is on the table. He will be running part-time, but obviously it would be great if we could get him a full-time deal, so any out there looking for a good driver? He does a good job on social media too.”

Ryan has made six Xfinity Series starts for JGR in both 2022 and 2023. Earlier this season at Dover Motor Speedway, he picked up his first NASCAR win in dominating fashion, leading 124 of 200 laps.
