Katherine Legge was expected to run four Xfinity Series races with SS GreenLight Racing, the team announced last month. But that’s been put on halt.

After experiencing a mechanical woe at Road America and finishing last, Legge won’t return to the No. 07 team this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Instead, Colin Garrett is expected to make his first series start in nearly two years. In 12 career Xfinity starts, Garrett has a trio of top-15 finishes with Sam Hunt Racing.

“Due to the unforeseen and ongoing writer‘s strike, which continues to affect our entertainment industry partners,” Klint Briney, Legge’s agent, said, “the associated promotional plans for Katherine Legge‘s sponsorship to compete in the Xfinity Series have been temporarily suspended. As such, we are working to shift Katherine‘s upcoming NASCAR race participation, and will have more details as they become available.”

Legge was scheduled to compete at Watkins Glen International next weekend, but that could also be in jeopardy. Her final race on the calendar was in October at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval.

The No. 07 team enters Indianapolis this weekend 38th in the owners standings and finished 31st last weekend at Michigan International Speedway with Stefan Parsons driving.
