NASCAR announced that Chicago-based restaurant group Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants (Lettuce), will return as the official food and beverage partner for the Chicago Street Race Weekend on July 6-7. Lettuce will present curated menus for ticket holders, inspired by a variety of its signature restaurants, including RPM Restaurants, Bub City and Summer House.
New this year, Lettuce will collaborate with locally-owned restaurants Lexington Betty Smokehouse, Josephine‘s Southern Cooking and Bronzeville Winery, offering ticketholders a taste of Chicago from the Pullman, Chatham, and historic Bronzeville neighborhoods.
“From premier signature dishes to must-have Chicago classics, our goal is to deliver ticket holders a culinary experience that showcases why Chicago is one of the best food cities in the world,” said Julie Giese, Chicago Street Race President. “In keeping with our mission to help empower the local economy, we are proud to partner with local restaurants like Lexington Betty Smokehouse, Josephine‘s Southern Cooking, Bronzeville Winery, and Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants to help shine a spotlight on the great city of Chicago.”
The Skyline, a new three-level elevated structure overlooking Pit Road and the Start-Finish Line, will provide guests an unparalleled 360-degree sightlines of the park and street course, including the iconic Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. To further elevate the experience, RPM Restaurants will offer a premier, all-inclusive menu special to guests at The Skyline, including a signature pasta station from RPM Italian, fresh salads, shrimp cocktail, all-natural grilled beef tenderloin and more. BBQ options from Bub City and classic Chicago fare like hot dogs will also be served.

The hospitality for which Lettuce is known will also extend beyond the Skyline‘s Founders Club and Skyline Suites to other VIP areas throughout the course, including Harbor Suites, Lakefront Club, Turn 1 Club, Fountain Club, and Plaza Club. Each location will offer dishes like BBQ, tacos, salads, pasta and more made as a collaboration between Lettuce chefs.
Throughout the Chicago Street Course, general admission ticket holders and reserved seating fans will have access to a host of Chicago flavors. A la carte menu items that will be available for purchase include Bub City favorites like Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, BBQ Brisket Sandwich, the All-American Burger, Mac and Cheesy, plus a Lobster Roll, Truffle Fries and award-winning cookies from Summer House.
Joining Lettuce is Chef and Pitmaster Dominique Leach of Lexington Betty Smokehouse, recognized as Chicago‘s best BBQ by “Good Morning America.” Chef Leach, winner of Food Network‘s BBQ Brawl and will dish out Pulled Pork Sandwich and Cornbread Muffins to general admission ticket holders. Chef Lamar Moore from Bronzeville Winery will be serving a Prime Filet Slider and Sweet Potato Hummus with a Cornbread Crostini and Josephine‘s Southern Cooking will offer festival dishes including Elote, Loaded Nachos, and Jerk Chicken Tacos to guests.
General admission ticket holders can also enjoy items from Chicago staples including Vienna Beef, Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, and Garrett Popcorn Shops.
The Chicago Street Race is a two-day sports and entertainment event with a festival-like atmosphere that exemplifies NASCAR‘s characteristic fan experience that puts attendees closer to the action than any other sport. NASCAR has single-day ticketing options starting at $150, including tax. NASCAR also offers Youth General Admission Pricing for children aged 12 and under that are free on Saturday, July 6, and Youth GA tickets for Sunday‘s NASCAR Cup Series race are $45 (including tax).
Two-day reserved tickets starting at $465 (including tax) offer an array of opportunities that include reserved seating and a wide variety of premium experiences.
