More about Road America

Road America is one of North America’s most iconic road racing circuits, located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Opened in 1955, the 4.048-mile, 14-turn permanent road course winds through the rolling terrain of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine region and is often known as “America’s National Park of Speed.”

The track is celebrated for its blend of long straights, sweeping corners, elevation changes, and technical sections that challenge drivers across multiple racing disciplines. Signature areas such as the Kettle Bottoms, the Carousel, and Canada Corner have become legendary among competitors and fans alike.

Road America hosts major events including the NASCAR Xfinity Series, IndyCar Series, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, MotoAmerica, and historic racing festivals. Beyond the action on track, the venue is known for its camping, scenic viewing areas, and welcoming atmosphere, making it one of the premier motorsports destinations in North America.
