Aric Almirola, driver of the No. 10 Smithfield Ford Mustang, will be performing double duty at Sonoma Raceway as he competes in both the NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Cup Series events. Almirola was this week‘s Ford Performance guest and answered questions from the media about his busy weekend schedule.
One of the questions pertained to his plans to continue driving next season. After planning to retire last season he returned this year. He reportedly has an option on his contract to continue driving in 2024.

By this time last year what I thought was going to happen ended up not happening, so I think, for me, it‘s just get up every morning and continue to work hard at being the best race car driver I can be and we‘ll see where things shake out.”
