On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series ran its race on the streets of Chicago. As the Xfinity Series had to fight rain over two days to get its race in, and wasn‘t totally successful at getting in every lap, NASCAR fans were a bit worried for the Cup race. As it turned out, this race, too, was not fully completed; but thankfully it turned into a slam-bang-wow-did-you-see-that spectacle, complete with an unexpected winner (Congratulations to Shane Van Gisbergen!) Besides all of that it wouldn‘t have been a race without commercials, of course. For those who like to know precisely how many ads there were, and how much time they took during the broadcast, here is this week‘s breakdown.
