Travis Mack, crew chief for Daniel Suarez’s #99 Trackhouse Racing team has been ejected from the infield at Martinsville speedway for improperly attached ballast in the jackpost.
Jose Blasco-Figueroa will serve as interim crew chief for Suarez during the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500. He was Suarez’s crew chief at Atlanta earlier in the year when Mack served a suspension for two loose lug nuts at Phoenix.
Suarez will have start the Martinsville race from the rear.
