Forecast Updates

Image

Still a bit far in the future for the forecast, but long range is hinting at an interesting pattern setting up with a low pressure system in the upper levels of the atmosphere drifting from western Arizona through California and out into the Pacific over the weekend.  This means cooler temps and a bit more cloud cover than might be expected (particularly Saturday for now).  Any rain?  It does look like that system will be able to generate a few showers but mainly in the higher terrain well east of Long Beach.  Worth keeping an eye on through the week though to see how it continues to evolve.

Fri Sept 24 – INDYCAR (Practice 1 – 3:00 pm): Patchy fog/clouds in the morning, then mostly sunny.  West wind 5-10 kts with gusts to 15 kts.  64/78.

Sat Sept 25 – INDYCAR (Practice 2 –  9:00 am, Qualifying – 12:05 pm): Patchy fog/clouds in the morning, then partly cloudy.  West wind 5-10 kts with gusts to 15 kts.  63/78.

Sun Sept 26 – INDYCAR Grand Prix of Long Beach (12:45 pm): Patchy fog/clouds in the morning, then mostly sunny.  West-southwest wind 5-10 kts with gusts to 15 kts.  62/74.
