Mitchell Todd Coble, 60, of Oakboro, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Todd was born May 19, 1961 in Stanly County to the late Harold Bill Coble and the late Edith Mauldin Coble.

Todd worked for Hendrick Motorsports for over 20 years. He enjoyed grilling, spending time at the beach, and spending time with his family and friends. Everyone loved his dry wit and his “Toddisms of Life”.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. There will be a Memorial Service 4:00 pm, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Hendrick Motorsports Team Center.

Survivors include his loving companion of 18 years, Jennifer Mabry of Oakboro, NC;  brother, Chris (Eva) Coble of Oakboro; nephew, Justin (Rebecca) Coble; niece, Lindsey (Jonathan) Maulden, and their children, Easton and Ellie Jo Maulden; mother-in-law, Sherry Mabry; brother-in-law, Stuart (Jenny) Mabry, and their children, Jax and Essa Mabry.

AND: On Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the four Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE race cars of Hendrick Motorsports will carry a special decal in memory of longtime team member Todd Coble, who passed away this week. Coble, who was a sub-assembly technician in the Hendrick Motorsports engine department, spent more than 21 years with the organization.
