In April, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will make his lone Xfinity Series start of the 2022 season at Martinsville Speedway. On Tuesday, JR Motorsports unveiled his Hellman’s paint scheme for the race on Friday, April 8.
The paint scheme was determined via a fan vote, which had three options. Collectively, the fans voted on the white base as the winner.
In an Instagram Live video unveiling the No. 88 car, Earnhardt said he thought about running the No. 03 car, which is a number he competed in while racing street stocks at Concord Motorsports Park in the early 1990s.
