Xfinity Series crew chiefs James Pohlman (No. 7 car) and Patrick Donahue (No. 48 car) have been fined $5,000 apiece for having an improperly installed lug nut on their respective cars at the end of Saturday’s Alsco Uniforms 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Donahue, crew chief for Parker Kligerman, led the No. 48 team team to an eighth-place finish after an early spin. Justin Allgaier, who has Pohlman as a crew chief, finished 17th in the race.

Having a lug not properly installed violates Safety Sections 8.8.10.4a: Tires and Wheels
in the NASCAR rulebook.
