Two-time Brickyard 400 winner Kyle Busch crashed off Turn 2 during a Goodyear tire test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Tuesday afternoon. He was the Chevrolet driver at the test.

A Goodyear spokesman confirmed that Busch’s crash wasn’t tire related. Weather dependent, Denny Hamlin (Toyota) and Todd Gilliland (Ford) are scheduled to resume the Goodyear test on Wednesday.

NASCAR returns to IMS next month for the first race on the 2.5-mile oval since 2020. It is the final race before the two-week break.
