Veteran road course driver, Andy Lally, announced he will compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Saturday, Aug. 14 for BJ McLeod Motorsports.
Lally has competed in four Xfinity Series road course events — three of them for BJ McLeod Motorsports — this season, with a best finish of fifth at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. In his most recent outing, he placed 13th in the No. 5 Toyota.
At Indianapolis, Lally will drive the No. 78 car, which is primarily driven by Jesse Little.
I‘ll be racing Indianapolis with @TeamBJMcLeod in their #78 in the @NASCAR_Xfinity series. I need a throw back idea and most importantly a sponsor! Im thinkin we can shape that 78 into a 28 font and run a Davey Allison rookie paint scheme… whadaya think?? #NASCAR
