In a media availability at Sonoma Raceway, Carson Hocevar confirmed he had surgery on his broken right tibia and on Monday, following an incident late in last week’s Camping World Truck Series race at Gateway. The surgeon put a screw in his tibia to stabilize it at the ankle.
Hocevar has been cleared by his doctor and is cleared by NASCAR to practice at Sonoma.
Hocevar broke his right tibia at his ankle. Had surgery to put a screw in. He got in and out of the truck to nascar approval and will practice. As long as practice goes without major issues, he will race.
