As NASCAR makes its return to Iowa Speedway for the inaugural Cup Series race, DGM Racing announces Ross Chastain as the driver of the No. 92 Chevy Camaro. In Chastain‘s first NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start of the season, Rich Mar Florist will be featured on the hood as a primary partner for his double-header weekend.

Rich Mar Florist has come up with an iconic design that will feature watermelons to represent Chastain‘s family heritage, roses that honor Rich Mar Florist, and corn stalks that signify the return to Iowa.

“I would like to thank everyone who had a hand in making this happen,” Jonathan Morrissey, owner of Rich Mar Florist states. “Ross and his family know that generations of hard work pay off and our family could not be more excited about welcoming one of NASCAR‘s most popular drivers to our racing family. Fans are going to love the scheme, the crew shirts and firesuit! This is going to be exciting for all involved for sure.”

Passionate about motorsports, Rich Mar Florist has been heavily involved in NASCAR supporting many teams, drivers, and tracks across the country since 2019. Four generations of Morrisseys have owned and operated Rich Mar Florist for nearly 70 years. As an eighth-generation watermelon farmer, Chastain is proud to partner with a company and team with strong family roots and multi-generation pride in what they do.

“In addition to racing for small teams throughout my career, partnering with a family-oriented organization is something that makes me feel at home,” Chastain shares. “Being able to contribute to DGM Racing‘s continued growth is something I take pride in each time I strap in.”

Rich Mar Florist has been a huge supporter of DGM Racing, sponsoring numerous drivers including Kyle Weatherman, Josh Bilicki, Mason Massey, Garrett Smithley, and now Ross Chastain. While Rich Mar Florist has been featured as an associate partner several times over the last few seasons, they were a primary sponsor of Mason Massey at Pocono Raceway and Garrett Smithley at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In addition to partnering on the track, Rich Mar Florist has been a big part of our drivers‘ lives outside of racing as well. During the off-season, Rich Mar Florist worked with the Weatherman and Bilicki families to provide floral arrangements at both of their wedding ceremonies.

“The creativity and enthusiasm Rich Mar Florist brings to the table when partnering is something our team always looks forward to, and then to combine that with the momentum from years past that Ross brings sets us up for a winning combination” said team owner, Mario Gosselin. “We‘re incredibly thankful to have sponsors that continue supporting not only our team and drivers, but the sport of racing as a whole and us in our everyday lives.”

Chastain has tied the team‘s best finish with two 4th place finishes in only nine starts in a DGM Racing Chevrolet. Starting 2nd in their first race together, Chastain also holds the team‘s best qualifying position to date.

The Hy-Vee Perks 250 takes place on Saturday, June 15, at 3:30 p.m. ET. The NXS will have practice on Friday, June 14, at 4:30 p.m. ET. Qualifying will be Saturday, June 15, at 12:00 p.m. ET. Practice, qualifying, and the race will be televised live on USA network.
