Summary: The region will be under an upper-level ridge throughout the weekend.  Some upper-level clouds and stronger winds could move through the region on Friday & Saturday as Hurricane Helene continues inland, but they should clear out by Sunday.  Expect three days of beautiful weather!

Kansas Speedway is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) tri-oval race track in the Village West area near Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It was built in 2001 and it currently hosts two annual NASCAR race weekends. The IndyCar Series also held races at the venue until 2011. The speedway is owned and operated by NASCAR.

The track length is disputed by the two major series that run at Kansas Speedway. The NASCAR timing and scoring use a length of 1.50 miles (2.41 km). The IRL timing and scoring used a track length of 1.52 miles (2.45 km).
