Sat Aug 12 – Partly Cloudy. High around 91°F. Low around 72°F. Winds northeast 5-10 mph. 

Sun Aug 13 – Scattered thunderstorms and showers likely, possibly severe in the afternoon and evening. Chance of rain 60%. High around 85°F. Low around 72°F. Winds south southeast 10-15 mph.

Surface low pressure is located over Minnesota, producing a weak boundary across northeastern Kansas. This will move east toward Heartland Motorsports Park and set the stage for scattered thunderstorms tonight. These storms can be strong to severe with winds around 60 to 70 mph and large hail being the main concern.
