Ryan Ellis tweeted out Wednesday evening that he will be running a throwback paint scheme at Darlington Raceway on Mother’s Day Weekend, honoring his grandfather, Vic Ellis.
Vic raced on dirt tracks in the 1950s, but lost his life in a tragic racing accident.
