Jeremy Clements is off to the best start of his 11-year full time NASCAR Xfinity Series career. And it just got better.
First Pacific Funding announced on Friday morning (April 30), it will sponsor Clements’ No. 51 Chevrolet in any race that the team didn’t have a primary sponsor for the remainder of the 2021 season. The deal included nine races.
In eight Xfinity races this season, Clements sits eighth in the championship standings, 45 points above the playoff cutline. He ranks ahead of all three of JR Motorsports’ full-time drivers in points, and one apiece from Joe Gibbs Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing.
