Advance Auto Parts (NYSE: AAP), a leading automotive aftermarket parts retailer and entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series (NAAPWS), announced the six NASCAR short tracks moving into the final round of fan voting in the “Advance My Track Challenge.”

The following tracks will be part of the final round of voting, which takes place Sunday, May 9, through Monday, May 10. The track receiving the most fan votes will win $50,000 for track facility enhancements and community-based programs.

The track finishing with the second-most votes receives $15,000, with the third-place track winning $10,000. Fans can cast their vote up to three times per day on AdvanceMyTrack.com.

“Our inaugural ‘Advance My Track Challenge‘ has already exceeded expectations in terms of fan support and engagement,” said Jason McDonell, Advance‘s chief marketing officer. “We have enjoyed seeing the passion of race fans and how communities have rallied around their local NASCAR short tracks during this program. We look forward to our final round of voting, crowning our winning track and continuing to advance grassroots racing for years to come.”

Team Penske will support the “Advance My Track Challenge” at the May 9 race at Darlington Raceway, with the program to be featured on the No. 12 Advance Auto Parts Ford Mustang driven by Ryan Blaney. As the Darlington race weekend is celebrated by the industry as the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR, Blaney will trade his traditional Advance red-and-yellow paint scheme for a throwback look replicating his 2010 PASS Series late model race car. Additionally, the names of all 48 NAAPWS tracks are listed on the back of Blaney‘s No. 12 Mustang to further tie Advance‘s connection to local short track racing.

“My time racing on short tracks across the Southeast is a big reason why I‘m in the NASCAR Cup Series today,” said Blaney, a five-time NASCAR Cup Series race winner. “I‘m fired up to race my Advance Ford Mustang inspired by the design on my 2010 late model. This car brings a lot of great memories for me and my family, and I cannot wait to hit the track at Darlington and give Advance and all of NASCAR‘s local tracks a great ride.”

Blaney will compete in the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, May 9, at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina (3:30 p.m. ET, FOX Sports 1).

The “Advance My Track Challenge” began on Wednesday, March 24, with 22 NASCAR home tracks across the United States and Canada represented in the program‘s first round of voting. Fans voted up to three times daily in the first round, which concluded Tuesday, April 27.
