According to Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports, Keith Barnwell, who is a longtime motorsports team executive and spotter has joined Big Machine Racing to help manage the No. 48 team for the 2022 season.
Most recently, Barnwell had worked with GMS Racing and helped with its driver development programs.
Over the offseason, Big Machine Racing relocated to Richard Childress Racing’s campus in Welcome, N.C. The No. 48 team finished 24th in the Xfinity Series’ owner standings last year, with Jade Buford as the team’s primary driver.
Longtime motorsports team executive (and spotter) Keith Barnwell has moved from GMS Racing to Big Machine Racing (Xfinity-No. 48 Jade Buford) to help manage that team‘s operations. The organization this year moved on to the RCR campus and is pretty much embedded in the RCR shop.
