Dale Earnhardt Jr. will participate in the Next Gen test at Daytona International Speedway on Tuesday and Wednesday for Hendrick Motorsports, the team announced on Monday.
Earnhardt tweeted out: “Excited to get more time behind the wheel of this new car. It‘s absolutely necessary for me to do my best in the broadcast booth.”
Previously, Earnhardt participated in the Next Gen test at Bowman Gray Stadium last October, in preparation for the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum.
