In a media availability on Thursday (March 10), NASCAR’s Chief Operating Officer Steve O’Donnell said that next weekend’s race events at Atlanta Motor Speedway will likely have the double yell0w-line rule, typically featured at Daytona and Talladega.

Should a driver make a pass below the yellow line, they will be penalized. This is the first time AMS will utilize the double yellow-line rule after its reconfiguration in an effort of making the racing closer together.
