On Tuesday, it was announced SS GreenLight Racing has purchased the points of the No. 92 DGM Racing car — which is 24th in the Xfinity Series owners standings — for its No. 08 entry.
Earlier this week, DGM Racing announced it would scale down to two full-time teams and run a partial schedule with its No. 92 car.
Through the opening six races of the season, the No. 08 car has qualified for just two races, earning a best finish of 31st at Phoenix Raceway with David Starr driving. Prior to the year beginning, Starr was announced to drive in 28 races with the team. The No. 08 entry was 42nd in points.
The SS Green Light No. 08 Xfinity car now has the owner points of the DGM Racing No. 92 car, which is 24th in owner points. The No. 08 was 42nd.
