Back to back weeks as favorite for Ryan Blaney? Sportsbooks clearly like what they‘re seeing from the driver currently sitting second in the Cup Series standings. As he joins Kyle Larson and Chase Elliot as the only drivers to be favored to win at least two races this season.

Blaney is given +600 odds, or an implied 14.3% chance to win. His biggest competition is expected to be Kyle Busch and Joey Logano who are both given +700 odds, or an implied 12.5% chance to win.

What of the usual sportsbook favorites? Well, Elliott is given +900 odds to win the race, an implied 10% chance, and that puts him 6th on the odds market. Meanwhile, Kyle Larson is given +1200 odds, or an implied 7.7% chance to win, putting him 8th on the market. Those are the worst odds given to either driver since the Daytona 500.

Quote from OddsChecker spokesman Kyle Newman, “Will it be an upset day in Loudon come Saturday? Sportsbooks clearly don‘t like their usual favorites here, as Elliot, Larson, and even Ross Chastain are all outside the top-5. Still, Ryan Blaney has picked up some love the last few weeks from sportsbooks and now sits at the top of the odds market for a second straight week. Could it be time for his first win of the season?”
