CEO of Camping World, Marcus Lemonis, announced on Twitter on Wednesday evening that Camping World would not return as sponsor of the NASCAR Truck Series in 2023.

“What an amazing opportunity it’s been. 14 years, over 30 race entitlements, over 35 drivers sponsored and some of the best fans one could wish for. Thank you NASCAR,” Lemonis shared.

Following the news from Lemonis, Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern reported that NASCAR has known of the departure for “some time,” and that former series sponsor Craftsman is the leading candidate to take on the series name. Craftsman sponsored the series from 1996 through 2008. The series then became the Camping World Truck Series. The company shifted it’s branding to the Gander RV / Outdoors naming for two seasons before returning to the Camping World Truck Series name last season.

.@NASCAR has known for some time that @CampingWorld was not renewing, and it’s well down the line with a potential replacement, per sources.
