Some say everything is bigger in Texas, a saying that could be agreed upon or argued over, depending on a lot of things. On Sunday at the Cup race, however, some things were as sure as remembering the Alamo. The temperatures were stifling, with the track hot enough to make hot cakes on; and weather that changed from sun to rain, and even mustered up a rainbow. That was a little gift for the fans that spent at least five hours on their day off watching to see who could pull off the win in the midst of exploding tires and that evil turn four, that kept snatching the race cars and throwing them around. Fans at home got to see all of that, as well as plenty of commercials. For those who like to know precisely how many there were, and how much time they took during the broadcast, here is this week‘s breakdown.
