After his victory on Sunday, Kyle Busch is expected to do it again in Las Vegas. That‘s right, unlike last season when the books pushed Kyle Larson exclusively early in the season, this year they‘ve quickly pivoted to Kyle Busch. The Candy Man is the favorite to take home a second straight win.

Busch is given +650 odds, or an implied 13.3% chance to win the Pennzoil 400. It would be the first time Busch has won back to back races since 2019. His biggest competition is expected to be Kyle Larson who‘s given +800 odds, or an implied 11.1% chance to win and get his season on track. They‘re followed by current cup leader Ross Chastain who‘s given +850 odds, or an implied 10.5% chance.

This race also marks the first time this season that Chase Elliott is not among the top-5 on the market. Elliott is now given +1200 odds, or an implied 7.7% chance to win. That has him sixth on the market, tied with Martin Truex Jr and Ryan Blaney.

Quote from OddsChecker spokesman Kyle Newman, “Las Vegas is one of Kyle Busch‘s favorite tracks. Over the last 5 seasons, Busch has four top-4 finishes in this race. He‘s also won this race, though that was way back in 2009. Given his strong performance last week perhaps this is the year Busch gets another victory here.”
