FRS Racing, owned by Collin Fern, announced that Max McLaughlin will make his Xfinity Series debut at Watkins Glen International in August.

Both Fern and McLaughlin are New York natives, and McLaughlin has a K&N Pro Series East victory to his credit at WGI in 2019.

“Collin is not only one of the hardest working people I know, but he’s also one of my closest friends,” McLaughlin said in a statement. “So, I’m super excited to be a part of his debut season as a car owner, especially racing at a place where my family has so much history.”

Since departing the NASCAR route following the 2020 season, McLaughlin is often running big block modifieds in the northeast.
