It‘s the fourth race of the year and we have a fourth new favorite to win a race. A stark contrast to 2022 when Kyle Larson was favored to win all four of them. This weekend‘s favorites are Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney, making Blaney the first driver to be favored to win two races this season.

Logano and Blaney are given +800 odds, or an implied 11.1% chance to win the race. That narrowly edges Kyle Larson who‘s given +850 odds, or an implied 10.5% chance to win the race. Ross Chastain and Kyle Busch are both given +900 odds, or an implied 10% chance.

Last week‘s winner William Byron is given +1200 odds, or an implied 7.7% chance to win. That‘s seventh on the market, tied with Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell. It‘s also worth noting that no favorite has won a race yet this season.

Quote from OddsChecker spokesman Kyle Newman, “Ryan Blaney becomes the first driver to be a favorite for two races this season. He‘s done so with only one top-10 finish in his first three races, and no top-5 finishes. Meanwhile, current cup standings leader Ross Chastain hasn‘t been favored to win any races. That just gives an idea of how volatile the odds market has been this season.”
